REYNOLDSVILLE PUBLIC LIBRARY STORY HOUR AND 1,000 BOOKS

The Reynoldsville Public Library's spring 2017 Story Hour will begin on Friday, March 10 and continue for 7 weeks after.
 
The spring's theme will be "Books Before Kindergarten."
 
The Oil Creek District launched a program this year that is "1,000 Books Before Kindergarten," which shows the importance of reading to your child that many books before they reach Kindergarten.
 
The library's kickoff will start at this spring's story hour, where kids will be given reading logs to keep track of how many books are being read to them.
 
After every milestone, which is 100, the children will get their picture taken with their respective 100 sign to record their achievement in their goal to 1,000.
 
To sign up for Spring Story Hour, please call the Reynoldsville Public Library after 1 p.m. at 814-653-9471 to register your child. Space is limited.
