Cranberry, PA – Rue21, a teen clothing retail chain based in Pennsylvania, is closing about one-third of its stores nationwide.
The company says it will focus more on online business. Rue21 is closing nearly 400 stores, leaving it more than 700 stores in 48 states.
The DuBois Rue21 will remain open.
However, the store inside the mall in Indiana, PA and the Nittany Mall store in State College will both be closing.
Rue21 has not said how soon they plan on closing the stores, but their website is already promoting store-closing sales.
