Clarion County, PA – The woman who was killed in a crash along State Route 338 in Clarion County on Sunday has been identified.
49-year-old Beatrice King of Guys Mills, Crawford County, was driving along Route 338 near Knox when a horse entered the roadway and struck the front of her vehicle.
The coroner’s report says that the horse landed on the roof of the vehicle, killing it.
King’s vehicle continued to travel across a berm and crashed into a ditch.
King was pronounced dead at the scene from blunt force trauma to the head around 10 p.m. Sunday.
