Jefferson County, PA – A former DuBois man was found guilty and sentenced for trafficking large amounts of heroin into our area.

51-year-old David Anthony was found guilty of three counts of delivery of a controlled substance. He was sentenced on these and other charges to a total of 11 years to 27 years.

Jefferson County District Attorney Jeff Burkett says that this is huge victory in the war against drugs in our area.

The investigation showed that Anthony was dealing with up to 27 bricks of heroin at a time, which translates into 1,350 individual bags of heroin. This much heroin would have a street value of about $24,000 to $27,000.
